Clever Storage Ideas...

Sometimes it's not always about the big storage....
all the luck in the world

1 long twig plus 4 more attached length ways with twine from a stationers (or the pound shop if your lucky!!

Vintage tins like these make great storage and look fantastic.  Perfect for paper clips, rubbers, sharpeners etc on an office shelf or  even kids hairclips and hair bands. Really useful when faced with the morning rush from the kitchen.

Really nice ideas for children's rooms, above images via hus&hem and Guns hips swollen lips blogs.

I would put old schoolwork and artwork in the boxes above and use the smaller boxes for all the rest of  the *Beep* that children collect in their rooms! Perfect x

 - use wrapping paper, vintage material or whatever you can find to cover old shoe and jewellrey boxes for this fab idea.

I'm feeling a little blue today...

Get Organised...

Images: Rum Magazine
These gorgeous images i found via Rum magazine.  Love love love these shots, sooo me...love that vintage vibe.

Be inspired to set up an office space for your computer anywhere in your home.  Make it a creative space, where images spur your imagination.  Copy/cut out these images if you find it hard to visualise a space for yourself by pinning it up on the wall. These along with other bits & bobs can and will become a beautiful montage eventually.

Autumn Beauty

Autumn is such a beautiful season.

Ikea Family Live

A thousand and one apologies for the very long delay between posts!!!!!! As a newbie to this blogosphere it is very hard to maintain daily life whilst maintaining a blog.  But hopefully i have returned with a spring in my step and a new determination to stay focused.

Starting with some images that had me bouncing in my seat a little crazy looking but obviously filled with joy!!!(sad sad sad)

This is like the most scrumptious chocolate cake to me - i just want more.  Kitchens like these literally make me salivate!!! Do fabulous interiors do that to you?? love love love these pics from the new Ikea Family Live site.  The larder style shelves are making my brain tick at this very moment...i feel changes a coming....

Colour crazy

I love love love colourful homes.  Maybe it's because i'm a mother of 4 and keeping a pristine and immaculate home is definitely NOT going to happen with my brood.  London can be a very grey and gloomy place in the winter months...hell, most months (who am i kidding!!), except for summer that is when London is an absolute glorious country to live in.
Here is a home which can only make you smile, courtesy of Hus & Hem. This Swedish interior design magazine is one of my favourites.

Vintage Love

Beth Evans is from South London, whose enviable home has been featured on the wonderful design blog Apartment Therapy. Beth has a shop on Etsy called Loll and Lie which sells vintage cushions.
She has used her own vintage pillow collection coupled with mid century furniture and has created a very welcoming and comfortable home.  I especially love her office with the vintage green roller blind and retro office chair.

Black + White = Perfect

Oh how i love black and white interiors. If used correctly- colours balanced etc etc you can create a really stunning base with which to add your own personal magic. Swedish Stylist Sofie Lawett nee: Andersson, manages this beautifully. Her images can be seen in Ikea, Elle Interior and House & Home amongst others and are a real pleasure to look at.

I found these pics via Emmas Design Blog.  Emma's blog is definately one of my favourites.  Her images are devine and she is definately one of my blogging heroes.

Here are a few pics from her site.
